Percival Everett is the author of fifteen books, including God’s Country, Watershed, Erasure, and Big Picture.  His honors include the Academy Award for Literature, Hurston/Wright Legacy Award, Hillsdale Award, PEN/Oakland-Josephine Miles Award, New American Writing Award, Lila Wallace Fellowship, and D.H. Lawrence Fellowship.  He is Professor of English at the University of Southern California.
