I was extremely excited to hear that
Flagstaff finally had a Greek Restaurant. My wife and I
jumped at the chance to go eat there... Now that
I've eaten there I'm not as excited as I was before. I'm not
saying that the food was bad because both of us did enjoy
our meal, but it wasn't the authentic Greek Food that I was
really hoping for. More than half of the menu is basic
American food (that may or may not have a Greek slant to the
spicing), and even the part that was Greek didn't jump out
at me. As I already mentioned, we both did enjoy our food
but didn't find it amazing. The atmosphere reminded me of an
Outback and didn't give me that Greek flare. The service was
fine, and the food was fine. I guess one redeeming part is
that if you just went to have a meal without an appetizer,
drinks, and any extras, you probably could get away with
having a nice dinner for $10 to $12. So, I did feel the cost
was reasonable. I give this restaurant a "just above
average" rating. I was hoping for more!

I go to Outback for any special occasion, or business dinners. I've never been disappointed. No matter how busy they are the food and service is always
excellent. I think it's the best restaurant in Flagstaff. I wish they were open earlier on the weekends, then I would go even more.

The Inn at NAU is part of the School of Hotel & Restaurant Management and is tucked away on the NAU campus on San Francisco Street across from the NAU Rec Center. HRM students operate the Inn, supervised by a professional staff.
They're personable, earnest, and aim to please. The Inn serves breakfast daily and lunch M-F. Portions are generous (I usually take home half of my lunch.) (I highly recommend the
"Stuffed Portabella with Lavosh, the Grilled Marinated Beef Salad, the Trout, and the Pecan-smoked Salmon, not to mention the in-house dessert creations.) During the school term, The Inn outdoes itself with Friday night
"Table d'hote" 6-course gourmet meals (a steal at $24.99 per person). These meals are a delight and happen roughly every two weeks during the semester. (Check their website or call for dates.
www.nau.edu/hrm
or 928-523-1616). Because it's a training facility, no taxes or tips apply. Lunch prices in the $6-$8 range and include full soup and salad bar. The Inn also does a good job on functions, like receptions, wine tastings, awards dinners —even weddings in its backyard garden.
Don't miss this little gem. Though it has only 19 guest
rooms, the restaurant does a brisk business and can handle groups of 70 for sit-down dinners or 100 for receptions.

While the salad bar is very good, the main course has been a big disappointment. My prime rib was over
1" thick and was the flavor and fatty consistency of a chuck roast. It even looked like a chuck roast. If I had looked in the kitchen, I
wouldn't be surprised if it was chuck. My husband's rib-eye steak was tough and both our cuts had pieces of bone. The stuffed trout is ok and some of the seafood fair. But the steaks have not been very good for the last few years. We will pass on this place for quite awhile.

First of all the beer is excellent and the service is great! They have a
kid's menu that consists of chicken nuggets, pizza, grilled cheese and
spaghetti. The adult entrees were great. My son had pizza with veggie sticks, my husband had the nightly special of a
rib-eye steak and I had the catfish platter with Caesar salad (which the server recommended). It was a bit busy so we had to wait a bit but it was worth it. Moderately priced. overall a 10!
Can't wait to come back to Flagstaff.

Good sandwiches. I like this
restaurant and it's about as good as Pesto Brothers that
used to be in their location. All of the meals are a
bit different and give you that flavor of
"gourmet". The cost is a little bit high for
lunch, but the quality is definitely worth it. Give 'em
a try!

I was mildly surprised that the food
was pretty good. I wasn't expecting much since it's a
chain, but it was actually fairly nice. The service
was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I
felt that it beat out Village Inn any day, and was much
better then Denny's too. So, if you're lookin' for
that average meal that doesn't hit the pocket book too hard,
this 'tis the place.

For a very new restaurant, new owners anyway, this is a really busy place. Fantastic food,
excellent and friendly service and GREAT prices! The quality and presentation of the fare I
expected to pay upper bistro prices but not here, very reasonable if not downright cheap. The
menu has expanded with wonderful dishes since the first time I visited and I guess the owners
plan to keep revising it so definitely let the staff and owners know your favorites. On
weekends they have live and mellow music, (don't forget to tip Mr. Music please) no smoking
until 2:00 p.m. and you might have to wait for a few, trust me, it will be worth the wait.
Always great specials going on. We'll see you there!

Restaurant Review:

I'm stunned there's no reviews for this great location for eats and route 66 atmosphere. . .
it has been owned, operated and maintained by the same family since the
50's, I believe. All the while, this place has achieved and managed to make good on a stellar reputation with locals
and travelers alike. It's very cozy/quaint with good home-cooked meals at very reasonable
prices (I think you can expect to pay $5-15 per meal depending on what you order). I guess the
only reason nobody's bothered to review it is either it has such a strong reputation and
steady group of regulars that more exposure isn't needed, or perhaps, people just
don't want to expose it to anymore people than is necessary. Either way,
it's a nice, fairly authentic route 66 alternative to miserable dives like the galaxy diner which do nothing more than
exploit their locations on the 66 to make quick bucks off of unsuspecting tourists. This place
is actually a route 66 institution and one of the many treasures of Flagstaff dining. Again,
it's simple, basic, good food with quirky service and a relaxed atmosphere
(don't expect gourmet cooking). I suggest coming here whether
you're a traveler or a resident of Flag for breakfast, lunch or even dinner. Support your local restaurants and businesses and tell these
worthless chains (like Red Lobster and Denny's) where they can take their businesses. . .
preferably with your wallet *_*

I've always had a good meal at Coco's. It surprises me sometimes.
For a place that has very generalized food, I usually enjoy the meal.
The cost is fairly reasonable as well, and the service is always good.
Not bad.
